The ARISTOTELES project has been featured in a new series of educational videos published on Canal SEC, the digital platform of the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SEC), highlighting the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare and cardiovascular medicine.

The videos were developed within the Hub IA – Arrhythmias and AI initiative and include contributions from Professor Francisco Marín Ortuño of the University of Murcia (UMU), a partner institution in the ARISTOTELES consortium. Through these sessions, ARISTOTELES is presented as a leading example of how AI can support personalized medicine and improve the management of atrial fibrillation and its associated comorbidities.

In the first video, “Prediction of the Development of Comorbidities in Atrial Fibrillation with AI”, Professor Marín Ortuño introduces the ARISTOTELES project, outlining its objectives, structure, and innovative approach to AI-driven healthcare research. The presentation highlights how the project is developing advanced AI tools to enable early risk prediction and support personalized clinical decision-making for patients with atrial fibrillation.

The second video, “Arrhythmias and AI – Discussion”, brings together a panel of experts to explore current and future applications of AI in cardiology. Topics include the use of electrocardiograms (ECGs) and clinical data for predicting atrial fibrillation and adverse events, the development of digital twins for personalized treatment strategies, and the broader opportunities and challenges of integrating AI into cardiovascular care.

The inclusion of ARISTOTELES in this educational series reflects the project's contribution to advancing trustworthy and clinically relevant AI solutions in healthcare. By making these resources publicly available, the University of Murcia and Canal SEC are helping to promote knowledge exchange among clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals, while increasing awareness of the transformative potential of AI in cardiovascular medicine.

These videos further support ARISTOTELES' commitment to dissemination, education, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that the project's scientific advances reach both the research community and healthcare practitioners across Europe.
